Celiac Disease
Anti-TTG and Endomysium IgA: a commonly used celiac disease screening.
The Nut Panel (fx1) screens for nut and peanut sensitisation. For women, knowing nut allergy status is important for pregnancy nutrition and family meal planning.
Doctor's Assessment Included
This panel measures combined specific IgE antibodies against peanut, hazelnut, Brazil nut, almond, and coconut. A positive result indicates sensitisation to at least one nut.
Nut allergies are a leading cause of food-related anaphylaxis. Identifying sensitisation is essential for safety planning, allergen avoidance, and emergency preparedness.
Consider this test if you have experienced allergic symptoms after eating nuts, have other food allergies, or want screening before introducing nuts into a diet.
If nut allergy is confirmed, strict avoidance is essential. Read all food labels, be aware of cross-contamination, inform restaurants, and carry prescribed adrenaline auto-injectors.
